REDEAGLE DRUMS are made from the skins of Buffalo, Elk, Horse, Deer, Cow and Goat. Moose and Bear hide drums are available by special order, depending on availability of rawhide.

Buffalo drums

Buffalo is a heavy hide that is generally darker in color and has a deep voice.

Elk drums

Elk is a medium thick hide.

It is less susceptible to humidity than the thinner hides.

Horse drums

Horse skin drums are unique in color, lightweight and have a deeper voice.

Horse are not killed just for their hides, the rawhide is a by-product of the food industry.

Cow drums

Cow hide is a thick durable hide.
